Currently there are no mortgage lenders in the UK offering 100% remortgages. All 100%+ products were withdrawn from the UK market at the beginning of 2008, as mortgage providers struggled to raise finance for these products due to tightening lending criteria; the "credit crunch".
Mortgage lenders may well re-enter this market, but only once the confidence in the financial markets returns. Up till then remortgages are only likely to be available up to 90-95% and lenders are will be looking for prospective purchasers to have a 5-10% deposit available.

Are you thinking of remortgaging your house? Thousands of people across the UK have been taking advantage of the benefits that remortgages can offer. From lowering your monthly repayments to extending your repayment term, switching lenders can help you save money and find better terms. It’s also a very good way to raise capital on your home, particularly if you take out a 100% deal. This means that you borrow the whole value of your property, paying no deposit on the total sum. It’s a good way to release cash for other investments, or as a way to consolidate existing debts on credit cards or unsecured loans.

100% remortgages won’t suit everyone. You may not want to take out such a high mortgage sum, or you may be looking for ways to reduce your monthly fees. Take a look at some of the other types of remortgage listed below:
